Hoppers Retain “Best Homebrew Club” Title at the Rocky Mountain Homebrew Club Challenge

For the second year in a row, the Hoppers claim the title of “Best Homebrew Club” in the Rocky Mountain region with our showing at the Rocky Mountain Homebrew Club Challenge.

A huge congrats goes to Jason Kruegal for winning Best of Show with his Cooper’s Pride Old Ale.

In all, Hoppers came away with 22 medals from our 77 entries.

Hoppers Kill It at the Colorado State Fair

Beeson Brings Home Two Medals from NHC!

A big, HUGE congratulations are in order for RHBC’s own Billy Beeson who won not one, but TWO medals at the 2013 National Homebrew Competition final round, awarded on June 29 in Philadelphia.

Billy’s Helles received a Bronze in Light Lager, beating out 200 other entries in the category.

His Rauchbier garnered a Silver in Smoke/Wood age beer, topping 382 other entries in the category.

Way to represent, Billy Fly!

On a related note, The Rock Hoppers tied for 7th place in the AHA Club of the Year competition.

Hoppers Clean Up at Eight Seconds – Earn Ace of Clubs Yet Again!

RHBC members continue to dominate local competitions and the 19th Annual Eight Seconds of Froth competition in Cheyenne, WY. Hoppers brought home no less that 24 medals in the competition!

With such a strong showing, RHBC won yet again the Ace of Clubs for the third time in the last four years!
