Fellow Hoppers,
It’s with regret that I must tell you all that I am stepping down as your club president effective today, October 8, 2014. Since you elected me in
March, my priorities have shifted to focus on my family. The club has been a big part of my life from its inception in 2008 and I
believe that I have contributed positively to its success since then. It is for that reason why I believe that I am doing the club a disservice by
remaining as president for the remainder of my term.
I applaud and greatly appreciate the time and dedication the other officers have provided over the past six months. Their leadership is rock solid and I
think that the club will continue to grow and achieve great things under their guidance. According to the club by-laws, they have 30 days to appoint
another person to my position. I thank you all for your understanding and I will definitely see you soon.
