Brewery Bus Trip – September 21, 2013 – Reserve Your Spot Today!

Tour Itenerary

Please plan on bringing enough cash to pay for lunch and beers. Unfortunately the club does not have the funds to cover these expenses for you.
  • 11:00 am – Leave Lone Tree Brewing
  • 12:30-2:30 pm – Fort Collins Brewery – We have reservations for all of us in the dining room for lunch.  Because of the amount of people in our group, lunch will be served from a somewhat limited menu.  This stop will feature a tour of the brewery from Head Brewer and Rock Hopper Adam Glaser.  It is also rumored that Adam may possibly join us on the bus for the rest of the day to our other stops.
  • 2:30-4:30 pm – New Belgium Tasting Room
  • 4:30-5:30 pm – Odell Brewing Company – This is a short stop but it may possibly included a partial tour of their facilities.  They told me that it depends on if there is somebody available to walk us through it at that time.  It’s a Saturday and will be a busy time for them.
  • 5:30-7:00 pm – We will stop at a centralized location in Old Town Ft. Collins.  People will have their choice of where they want to go between Coopersmith’s, Equinox, and Pateros Creek.  You can do whatever you want as long as you are back to the bus at 7:00 pm.
  • 7:00 pm – Head back to Lone Tree Brewing.
  • We will be back around 9:00 pm.

The 1st annual RHBC Brewery Tour will be happening on September 21, 2013.

We have booked a 32 passenger bus to take everybody to select breweries between Denver and Fort Collins.  The bus will tentatively leave around 11:00 am and will return by 9:00 pm.  An offical itinerary will follow soon.

Adam Glaser, RHBC member and head brewer at the Fort Collins Brewery, has graciously offered a personal tour!

The charge for the bus is $21 per person ($20 for the bus + $1 for PayPal fees) and is initially open to paying members only.

Any tickets that are not sold by September 12 will be open to non-members to make sure that we sell out. Tickets for non-members will be $33 each.

The actual cost of the trip per person is quite a bit higher than the $20 per person we are charging members – the club is subsidizing the difference (about $13 per person).  This is your annual member dues at work, so please take advantage of it!

A link to purchase your tickets is provided in the first comment below (you will need to log in to see comments).  There are only 32 total for sale, and based on the response from the last meeting, they are going to go fast.
