Happy Spring Hoppers,
Just a reminder that our next general meeting will take place this Thursday,
April 14, 2011 at 6:45 PM. We’ll be meeting at the Rockyard’s Dog House, just
south of the brewery proper at 3155 Commerce Court in Castle Rock [1]. Take a
look at the agenda [2] that has been posted on our website.
…. What To Bring
Please bring a chair and some of your brews to share! Also, make sure to
bring at least $5 cash to get in on the meeting raffle.
…. Focused Critique Table
Information about the /Focused Critique Table/, a new monthly event happening
on meeting nights, is available on our website [3].
The/ Focused Critique Table/ is made up of club members with a high level of
BJCP judging experience as well as those with significant technical
homebrewing expertise. Beers, meads, and ciders tasted at this table will
receive a full BJCP style score sheet and as much commentary as the judges
can provide. The goal is to help those who are looking for feedback to get
high quality and useful commentary regarding their creation.
If you wish to have a brew of yours critiqued by this panel on Thursday,
please sign up via the RHBC website [4]. There is a six spot limit per month
for focused critique, so make sure you reserve yours.

A reminder that dues for the 2011-2012 fiscal year need to be paid ASAP.
Bring cash or check to the meeting or pay online via PayPal [5]. Dues are
still $20 – that’s cheap!
