GABF Meet Up

It looks like there are quite a few people attending the Saturday afternoon members only session. We wanted to make sure those who are going had adequate meet up opportunity. Jason and I – along with our posse – word – will be standing in line, hopefully close to the steps by 10:30 a.m. on Saturday – yes, 2 hours before the festival starts. I didn’t mistype that. Anyone who wants is welcome to join us early for revelry, though watch line cutting if you get there later as the crowd starts to grow restless and intolerant of line jumpers.

For a meet up option during the actual festival let’s plan for all Hoppers to meet by the Silent Disco (you can’t miss it) 5 minutes prior to he start of the awards to watch the awards together / talk about that awesome beer from **** that you don’t want to miss. The specific time for the awards should be listed in the festival materials. With several Hoppers in the pro-am, it would be very nice to have a supportive contingent when the pro-am awards are announced.

For after the session, those who want to stick with the group to go get food should meet by the blue bear out front of the Convention center at the conclusion of the session (ie shortly after 4:30). If you miss us, give me a call / text to find out where we are headed. 303-929-5901.

Bubbles out for discussing ales, lagers

I talked to the manager at Bubbles about renting out the unused wine room on the west side of the building.  He said no.  When I asked why he said because they “forfeited the license.”  I’m not sure what that means but I’m going to go ahead and say it isn’t an option to host any kind of ale and lager discussions whatsoever.  My manager’s an ass.

Stay away from Fentanyl needles,

Justin

NHC Beer Menu

Here’s a snapshot of the beer menu the Rock Hoppers are going to have available for patrons of Club Night and the Hospitality Suite at NHC.

The menu itself will be 11×17 and laminated, allowing us to “check” the beers that are available from our 6 tap bar (thanks to Doug Causey for the use of a four-tap tower).
