  • Working on River North Brewery Tour – Looking at Dates in March
  • Possible side trips to other nearby breweries (Epic, Crooked Stave, OMF, Mockery, Beryl, etc)
  • NHC conference is in San Diego and the Registration Window is Opening Feb 18-24
    • NHC Conference is June 11-13

Rock Hoppers Come Up Big at Big Beers

bbCongratulations to all the Rock Hoppers that walked away with medals from Big Beers this last weekend.  The Rock Hopper contingent was strong in this fiercely contested battle with the following Rock Hoppers coming away with medals: 

Doug Thiel: 3rd Place Belgian Pale Ale

Billy Beeson: 1st Place Baltic Porter

Greg Geiger: 2nd Place Imperial Stout

Brian Pramov: 2nd Place Fruit Beer

Bryan Keas: 1st Place Specialty Beer

 

Honorable Mention (Even though he mistakenly indicated FOTR as his club):

Ed Moore: 2nd Place Strong Scotch Ale, 3rd Place Dopplebock, and HM Baltic Porter

 

Intra Club Comp This Thursday

Hoppers, don’t forget that our meeting this Thursday is the big beer intraclub competition.  Peoples choice winner gets a $50 gift card to Castle Rock Homebrew Supply.  Make sure you bring 24- 48 ounces of 10% or higher alcohol beer specifically for this comp!  Good luck.
